The Story Behind the Collection
One day while reading the Bible, designer Sharon Hinton Smith came across Revelation 21. While reading it, she wanted so badly to
visualize the beautiful stones that described the foundations of the walls of heaven. Sharon didn't know what each stone looked
like, so she went to her jeweler and asked if she could get a bracelet made of those precious stones. The bracelet became her
Glimpse of Heaven®.
Biblically Based
The Glimpse of Heaven Collection® is based on Revelation 21. In this chapter, God graciously offers us some visual images of this
beautiful place He has planned for His children. The walls and its foundations are described in detail, along with the streets of
gold, and the twelve gates which are each made of one single pearl! The size of the walls is also given. Revelation 21:17 states
that "
its wall was 144 cubits thick, by man's measurement, which the angel was using
." 144 cubits is about 200 feet or 65 meters.
To even better understand, a football field is 300 feet in length. That means that the walls are almost as
thick as the length of
a football field... around 2/3 the length according to Scripture!
The twelve precious stones in the foundation of the walls of heaven are listed in Revelation 21: 19-21.
The first is jasper, the
second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the
eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh is jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. Each precious stone
represents one of the colors.
Great Attention to Detail
Great attention to detail is taken to make each piece beautiful and reliable. Any woman who has owned a bracelet with prongs knows
the frustration that comes with getting her clothing caught in her jewelry. Not so with this collection. Each stone is set in a
bezel setting. Sharon considered every detail of this collection and created a very beautiful piece which is elegant, stylish, and
very wearable.

Every piece in the Glimpse of Heaven Collection®
is unique because each piece is crafted with genuine gemstones. No two
natural stones are alike; therefore, no two bracelets are just alike. Natural gemstones come in multiple colors and shades -
some more rare than others; therefore, those chosen are simply representations of the precious stones of the foundations of
the walls of Heaven.
Design

Smooth design which will not catch on clothing.

Bezel setting instead of prongs.

Smooth hand-made panther links.

The bracelets and necklaces are uniquely designed with the oval stones set on the vertical which completes the idea of stones
stacking on top of each other as on a wall.

Extra safety latch. This is the only part of the piece which could possibly catch on clothing. However, we believe the safety
latch is of utmost importance.

A Final Thought from the Designer
My original goal was to design a bracelet for myself. After showing it to friends, I had many ask how they could also
get one. I wore my first piece for seven years before listening to my heart and to my friends about designing the
collection. My first piece was originally pronged and had a gold band that caught on everything! I took my time in researching
settings, stones, and styles until I came up with a piece that I would be thrilled to wear, as well as confident in selling.
I've personally seen ladies cry when told of the meaning, and witnessed husbands' eyes light up as they envision giving it to
their wives. Some who have experienced deaths have also told me that this jewelry has helped them feel closer to their loved
ones.
